Mondrian, new wall paneling systems and sustainability: Ossicolor’s innovations at SICAM 2022
At SICAM 2022, Ossicolor has amazed once again. The stand, comparable to one of those at the Salone del Mobile, showcased new developments in design, innovation, and sustainability.
The main strenght?
The continuous ability to combine aesthetics, functionality, and environmental responsibility, without ever losing touch with the real needs of customers.
Among the highlights of this edition there is Mondrian, a new colorful composition inspired by art and created with aluminum slats of different thicknesses. Behind this aesthetic configuration lies a surprising functionality: an integrated hinge that transforms the module into a storage unit.
The wall paneling systems have been completely redesigned. Starting from an initial thickness of 6 mm, they evolved to 12 mm and finally to 3 mm. This progression has simplified assembly and enabled the integration of lighting and accessories. Once again, sustainability is central: recyclable materials and a focus on waste reduction.
Ample attention was also given to the Palo system, now available in a four-post version for greater load capacity, designed to support even structural elements such as column ovens. The concept is clear: deconstruct, lighten, eliminate the plinth, and give new momentum to the kitchen.
All of this fits into a solid industrial vision, with strategic collaborations with designers and architects, such as Michele Marcon, and continuous investment in technology, mechanics, and sustainability. The result? A flexible offer, completely costumizable, designed to last in time.
